God is so good
It’s a 15 min. workout http://www.walkathome.com/try-walk-at-home/ that is very easy and low impact. Just like walking the dogs…minus being pulled on or the cold air (I’m such a wuss). Because I haven’t been able to work out much, it was a nice little workout though. I broke a sweat and felt the muscles in my legs strain a bit, so it was nice. I’ll probably do a little yoga and stretching too, but that little cardio was nice. I NEED MORE. I MISS MY KUNG FU
I slapped Harvey’s hand today because he tried to help me with the food processor. I’m such an impatient jerk lately :loser:
I’M SORRY BABE :-((
 I LOVE YOU
It was awkward, and I don’t think I LOOK like I lost that much. But they measured :highfive:
I got wrapped up like a mummy, put on a gazelle for 30 min while I watched ’50 First Dates’ and got very soggy. According to them, I lost water weight and toxins http://www.mynewbodynow.com/bodywraps.html, which I believe, because I just finished chemo and I was VERY soggy when I was done. I think it was mostly toxins too, because I didn’t workout very hard at all. They told me to take it easy, just to keep the circulation going and I was already in pain, so I had to stop a few times. I have two more sessions, so we’ll see how things go, but I hope it keeps detoxing me, because these meds make me feel nasty. I feel worse every time.
But I’m pretty sure I won’t be taking the chemo again. I have another MRI scheduled, and if there’s no sign of reduction I’m just going to treat this with diet and exercise. I may try some other things, but I’m still researching that. :doctor:
I took my first dose last night and I hate it. I kept waking up feeling yucky. I have to take it on an empty stomach, and we got home late, so the timing was off a bit. I had to start with anti-nausia pills because the chemo almost always makes me puke and that was after I had to take a mouthful of my normal meds :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill: :pill:
It makes me crazy.
But so far, I haven’t thrown up and I feel okay I suppose. I have, what is becomming, my normal headache. But the Vicodin helps with that :pill: :teeth:
No Fun :doctor:
I’m probably going to have another cycle of chemo and see how it goes. If there’s no sign of reduction I doubt I’ll do another round. I just keep gaining weight and I don’t like the treatment process at all. I just feel tired and sick all the time. I can’t wait to get back to my old routines…and pant size
For now though, I just feel so out of it. Tired, unfocused, uncoordinated and too big for my britches :-( :pig:
On a positive note :-D
I talked with my Big Brother online today and that always makes me feel better. He’s such a positive and encouraging person. So is my Mom and my my Hubby who hung out with me at the hospital. They made a potentionally lame day a pretty enjoyable one
 It’s definately bedtime now. I haven’t had a nap all day, and I am VERY sleepy. :moon:
We were late because I slept in…. :loser: but I’m really glad we went. It was nice just to show up and stretch, thanks Sifu Estrada :-D !!! I missed the tai chi class :-(, but I got to watch Harvey teach his student and Mr. Hanson teach push hands. I wanted to jump in the classes, but I have to be careful with my “head injury,”; also, I had a headache and was wobbling just trying to walk into the school
After that I went to Sprouts for groceries and actually behaved myself a bit. I only got a couple mildly bad pastries, and stuck to the stuff on the list otherwise…mostly. I did get some olives after this NASTY guy walked around the olive salads picking out “samples” with his fingers and eating them. WHO DOES THAT?!!!
After groceries Harvey and I went to Best Buy to look at toys but didn’t get anything because my head still hurt…so we left pretty quick. I didn’t even ask to stop for a Starbucks…SOOOOO unlike me :coffee:
Now that we’re home, we got a nap and some work done and we’re going to enjoy a yummy vegan dinner with greens and bread and tea and probably watch the Green Hornet :nerd:
Have a nice night everyone!!! :moon:
It was nice and peaceful, but hard to really get into :fighterf: . I can’t wait until I can get back into Kung Fu and Tai Chi.
And it was pretty good :stop:
I keep getting surprised by these comic book movies…and I like comics so it’s weird that I’d be surprised. It’s also kind of funny because we’re watching Sliders now and the concept is similar.
I have heard that Green Lantern sucked though and based on the preview I’d have to agree. It looks bad. The graphics look lame, the actor’s not that impressive and I’ve never been interested in the story.
Of course the Avengers don’t look very good either.
I’ve been feeling so yucky these past few days. Bad headaches, pukey, and just plain sicko  The only thing that seems to help is napping and Vicodin. So today I napped in front of the fire with warm tea, coffee and my wonderful family doting on me. They’re all so sweet. :coffee:
I was supposed to see the doctor and have my blood drawn and get some new meds…but I hate all that crap and I felt like crap so I wused out and didn’t go. :chicken2:
Looks like a good group of docs to look into… :-/
