Meet Shadow, the wild…PONY?
Hi Everyone,
Mom and I went out to Hoofs and Woofs again and actually did some ‘work.’ ;-) . We were aloud to do the most basic parts of grooming and lunging for a WILD :rotfl: pony named Shadow. She was such a sweetheart, and so patient with us. That’s her daughter, Lulu, in the back. Next time I’ll get pictures of some of the other horses; there are so many of them. We also met more of the volunteers; a woman who handles most of the landscaping…WHAT A JOB THAT IS  , and another woman whose been helping out for about six months and was riding a huge horse that dwarfed us all.
We only stayed about two hours; and I found out a few very important things. One, I LOVE THIS PLACE and everything they’re doing for the animals. Two, I have A LOT to learn; and three…I’m turning into a wimpy little vampire whose scared of the sun :vampire:
Because of my ‘condition,’ (the tumor, the seizures), I’m indoors a lot more. So after being on the ranch, I realized how paranoid I was about getting burned from being out in the BEAUTIFUL sunshine for a couple hours. Sooooo Sad.
Well, I didn’t burn. So I am not a vampire. And I resolved to get out as much as I can and get as much sun as I can.
Let me know if anyone’s interested in coming along next time to the Ranch. We might go out this coming Wednesday or Friday in the morning. They could always use more help.
Love you all,
Christina

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called ; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
