Jesus Love You ;- D
I was reading my devotional this morning; and, surprise – surprise, God addressed something I’ve thought about recently. Although Jesus has been a huge part of my life since I was able to make that decision, I don’t think I’ve been close with him for a while. I’ve been too focused on the academics of ‘Bible Study,’ and not remembering the simplicity of his message, and the BOUNDLESS Love and Grace given freely to EVERY person no matter what differences exist.
As people, we make all kinds of rules and restrictions that DON’T exist; and conveniently leave out or bend the parts that conflict with our world views. But we can’t lose track of the fact that God sent his Son to show us that ALL people are precious to him and he wants to tend us and teach us Love and Forgiveness, while weeding out the anger and selfishness that taints the Joy he longs to share with us. Below are the verses I was reading this morning (New International Version) if you’re interested. They’ve helped me to start remembering why I Love Jesus and decided to follow him even though so many people seem to hate or dislike Christians.
Thank you Jesus
Have a Great Day!!! God Bless You All :-D
Psalm 37:5-7
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
Isaiah 57:13
let your collection of idols save you!
The wind will carry all of them off,
a mere breath will blow them away.
But whoever takes refuge in me
will inherit the land
and possess my holy mountain.”
Isaiah 60:20-21
and your moon will wane no more;
the LORD will be your everlasting light,
and your days of sorrow will end.
Then all your people will be righteous
and they will possess the land forever.
They are the shoot I have planted,
the work of my hands,
for the display of my splendor.

Hi Christina,
I’m a close friend of Steve Henry for quite a long while now. I and the guys in my mens Bible study group have been praying for you and your family. I just wanted to say thank you for your inspiring devotional thoughts, and for the other earlier blog thoughts you have posted. I look forward to reading more of your blog. As you know, God’s Holy Spirit is with you always. Honestly, I cannot imagine doing life without Him – ever.
Your Brother in Christ,
Stu

Hi Stu,
Thank you for you thoughts and prayers. There’s a neighbor of mine that I think God wants me to talk to about Jesus, and I’ve been pulling the whole Casting Crowns, ‘Here I Go Again,’ song. So I would love it if you pray for help with that. I’m very weak when it comes to approaching someone with the message of Christ, but I believe the Lord wants me to, and I’m just over complicating things. Please pray that I don’t waste another opportunity to tell him Jesus loves him. I know he’s in God’s hands, not mine, but I want to be obedient, and something about this man has always tugged on my heart.
And this morning was ALL THE SPIRIT teaching me. I’ve been sleeping a lot longer most mornings, but this morning I couldn’t. So I got up opened my devotional and read a couple verses that lead me to a few more that the Spirit lead me through and taught me about.
Praise God for his perfect design to edify and relate to us.
Thank you for getting in touch Stu; it was nice to meet you…even though it wasn’t face to face ^_^

Thanks Christina, we all need these reminders.
Ultimately, all Christ wants is for us to love Him, and for us to allow Him to love us. So glad you are spending time doing that. Give love to the family for us. Grandma is doing well.
We love you. Aunt Debbie/Uncle Mike
